I got my first one because my mom told me not to. Now I get them because I like them.

What made you decide to get a tattoo? I had always wanted one and I wanted my own design, as I am an artist and its an expression of mine.


Why did you want one? Expression. and to remind me of my true self. (my tattoo repersents that)
Reply:i like tattoo%26#039;s cause i feel its an artistic expression but i do think that it should be a tattoo that means something to you. also make sure you have seen pics the tattoo artist has actually done and see if you like his style cause i have two tattoo%26#039;s but one i regret cause it wasn%26#039;t done how i thought it would look. i still would get more because i do plan on getting the one i don%26#039;t like covered or fixed differently somehow. make sure you%26#039;re sober also cause if not you may get something you regret.

Reply:I don%26#039;t have any yet, but am planning on getting a sleeve up my left arm. I am an artist (regular, not tattoo) and I would love to have something that I drew on my personal canvas. I love art and it is a huge part of my life.
Reply:i got a phoenix on my hip, to me it%26#039;s like a representation of all the **** i%26#039;ve gone through this past year, im rising from the ashes and starting my life. i want quite a few more. i think in a way, it%26#039;s like a story book, when your all done, all of your tattoos tell the story of your life, all the hard times youve been through, and all the good times
Reply:i got my all for different reasons, my grandad dying, a really bad relationship(so that i dont end up with a guy like that again), people that influnece me etc. i%26#039;ve designed all of the myself so that no one woul have the same as me, i hate people that copy other people.
Reply:each of my tattoos commemorates a major (or at least it was to me at the time) event in my life. i have a few that represent the passing of friends. the first tattoo i ever got was to commemorate my entry into the body art community - i got it done when i became a piercer.





i still get them to mark major events in my life. i%26#039;ve marked my return to school, my change in life direction, the birth of my son, and there are still more to come.
