especially if it is a boy/girlfriend
Do you regret having any tattoo you have?
No. I have 6 of them, and I%26#039;ll never regret them. My tattoos are like a map of my life. Every one of them reminds me of where I%26#039;ve been in my life. And I%26#039;m sure I%26#039;ll get plenty more before my life is through.
Do you regret having any tattoo you have?
i would neverrr get a tatto of my boyfriend. i have one of my brith stone, and no i dont regret getting it. i dont know what i would be like without it!
Reply:i am getting 2 very small tattoos on the insides of my wrists within the next few years, and i know exactly what i want and i know i%26#039;ll never regret them. i won%26#039;t say what they are, though, because it%26#039;s completely original :)
Reply:Well i would never get a tattoo dealing with bf/gf or husband(future)
The one I have I love. I plan on expanding on more too.
Also plan on getting music notes with the words Escape somewhere.
Reply:Meh, I don%26#039;t necessarily regret it, I am just glad it%26#039;s on my ribs and isn%26#039;t visible for the most part. I got mono right after I got this tattoo and it just didn%26#039;t heal that well. And it was good in theory but once done, I just wasn%26#039;t as pleased with it. I think if I were to get it touched up and changed a bit, I would like it a lot more. Not sure if I am going to go with that option or cover it up one day.
But I love my other 5 tattoos.
Reply:i had my second tattoo covered...it was a chinese symbol (i was 18) and i covered it with 2 black stars outlined in hot pink....i like the stars MUCH better!!
Reply:Hi :)
I don%26#039;t have a tattoo, but found your question here amusing, TIC
Just imagine if someone puts a tattoo of their b//g/f at the age of 16
By the time they are 26 .... they might have had 5 or 6 different b//g/friends
and they all have to sleep in one bed, lol
What happens if the present one gets angry?
Pull out the limb where the tattoo is of the competitor?
%26quot;..^
Reply:No I don%26#039;t have any regrets about my tattoos. I have been getting tattooed for over 10 years now. I have one arm sleeved and lots of other tattoos. I love my tattoos. I have my husbands name right on top of my wrist. I am proud to wear it. I love my husband. I love the design my husbands name is in.
Reply:I have a couple of tats that I%26#039;m not fond of anymore, but I don%26#039;t regret any of them. They were not done professionally. I just had one that I wasn%26#039;t pleased with redone (not covered up) and now it looks excellent.
2-on back of each ankle-nautical stars with initials and birthdates of parents
1-first tattoo-on back of right hip-celtic triangle to represent me and 2 other friends-we all 3 got same tattoo in same place
i am not as close with the two friends anymore but i dont regret getting the tattoo b/c it will always remind me of my senior year of highschool and how close our friend ship was
i would definately never get a tattoo for a bf or husband!
Reply:i love my tattoo, however i wish i would have gotten it a lil bit bigger, at some point i might get it modified, so it%26#039;s a lil more intricate and bigger, but i also love it the way it is now and not regret it one bit

Whats a nice tattoo that a girl can do? and where?
I think that girly tattoos look best on the foot, the ankle, behind the ear, the inner wrist, and lower back.
Whats a nice tattoo that a girl can do? and where?
Something that resonates with you, since you%26#039;ll have it forever. Any place that you fancy, though I would caution against the lower back (a k a: the tramp stamp).
Whats a nice tattoo that a girl can do? and where?
Oh i have one near the bottom of my neck. its a tattoo of my birth stone, opal, and it looks really cool! so when i tie up my hair it shows. thats why a lot of girls get it there, cuz its easily visible. 2 of my friends got have one on te bottom of their backs. one has a butterfly, and the other has %26quot;live, love, laugh.%26quot;
Reply:i have one on my inner wrist that says %26quot;believe%26quot; and its got pink and purple stars around it. and i also have a ladybug on my foot and a small star behind my ear. those places and the lower back in my opinion are the best places for feminine tats
Reply:I dont know about you but I love stars and Im getting a detailed star on my hip where you can only see it when I wear a bikini and another one on my neck high though like beside my ear I think that looks cute too....
Reply:The back is always a cute place to get a tattoo, however, lower back tattoos sometimes come with unnecessary labels (ex. tramp stamp) I just got a rose on my upper shoulder blade and I love it.
Reply:Where?
It%26#039;s easy.
Where it can be glaring under the sun, moon and stars, even can be seen on cloudy and rainy days too.

What do you think?
Reply:The best thing you can do is get one that means something to you. For example, I have a tattoo of 2 unicorns(b\c I am 100% irish and the sign for my name in Ireland is the unicorn and I%26#039;m also a gemini, %26quot;the twins%26quot;, hence the 2 of them) w/ a scroll with my name in it and the gemini sign underneath. So it has to do with me.... If you gave me some examples about yourself or things you like, I might be able to help further, once you figure out what you want, you can figure out where. Also, lower back tattoo%26#039;s aren%26#039;t necissarily bad if it%26#039;s tasteful, that%26#039;s where mine is, but it%26#039;s a little higher, so if I don%26#039;t wanna show it, I don%26#039;t have to. Placing is key....Hope I helped, let me know if you need any more!
Reply:well, there are going to be a lot of people, i%26#039;m sure, telling you that the lower back is a good place to get a tattoo. please, for your sake and everyone else%26#039;s, please don%26#039;t get one there! that is the dreaded TRAMP STAMP and it never, ever looks good, especially if it%26#039;s a butterfly or a dolphin or something.
that said, tattoos on the the insides of the wrists are tiny, understated, and can be really beautiful. it%26#039;s feminine and delicate, and can also be easily covered up with concealer if you ever need to. it hurts more there, though.
good luck getting a tattoo!
Reply:I like flowers and stuff, a small band around the wrist. If you want to go bigger, I have Angel Wings tattooed on my back, I 鈾?them.
Reply:I got my first tattoo today. I got some simple kanji on my lower back, but on the sides. So it isn%26#039;t really a %26quot;tramp stamp%26quot;. Although, I think lower back tattoos are great if they%26#039;re meaningful and tasteful. It all depends on what you want. I plan on getting either a foot or inner wrist tattoo next.
Reply:i think something small is feminine. like behind the ear, or your anklec and foot,..i really like the idea of stars leading up the roof of your foot. something that relfects you. chinese characters are really cool, one that mneas something to you, so are stars and angels or butterflies.
Reply:I have a tat of a rose piercing a bleeding heart on my lower back.
Reply:If you have to get a tattoo (not just because everyone has one), I would recommend one on the derriere. It does not cut your job options later in life.
And it should be something that means something to you not something that means something to someone on this board.
I personally don%26#039;t see tattoos as feminine or cool at all. Just because everyone else is doing it, doesn%26#039;t make it necessary.
Reply:get one on your hip, you can show it off when you want to or keep it covered, so when your eighty years old your not stuck with a butterfly somewhere super visable. it%26#039;s tacky. what ever you decide to get tattooed, think long and hard about it, make sure you%26#039;ll love it forever and that you can cover it for work and what not

Applying underarm deodorant?
it is difficult to get the ball %26#039;rolling%26#039; on underarm deodorant when I apply it each morning after getting out of the shower and drying. what do I do to make it more lubricated? Is my armpit hair getting in the way?
Applying underarm deodorant?
i vote you shave them. haha
or just buy different deodorant (=
Applying underarm deodorant?
Apply it facing down I guess..
Reply:I roll my around and get it lubriacted by hand before I start applying.
Reply:get a solid, instead of a roll-on.
Reply:get a deodorant that sprays
Reply:Try a solid instead.
I laminate my underarms from about the elbow to just under my ribs. I always smell good.
Reply:that%26#039;s why I use a spray. Old skool and simple to use!
Reply:try getting stick deodorant, or a gel
Reply:not really sure, if i were you id get some new deoderant
Reply:try axe spray...then u dont have to worry about anything
and it smells hella good
Reply:it sounds clogged, run it under hot water with a little soap very slowly. dry it completely because you don%26#039;t want to get water in your deodorant.
Reply:dude....it%26#039;s called axe
Reply:get a new deodorant.
Reply:I have come to realize that roll on deoderants are no good for guys with armpit hair. It just oozes and sticks to it. Try a new kind such a gel that just oozes out instead of pulling on your hairs. This way, you can quickly apply/reapply a coat in a few seconds.
Reply:First of all you%26#039;re a dumbass...and i don%26#039;t know buy new deodorant or shave or something.
Reply:start rolling it with your finger and once you see it is lubricated start on the armpits
Reply:maybe shake it upside down
Reply:LOL
yeahhh get a spray on
and it probably is your armpit hair
or thaa cheap plastic
Reply:Why don%26#039;t you just use a different type of deoderant?
I hate those ball things myself..
Why not get one of the gel deoderants that you click up more gel or a powdery stick deoderant ?
Reply:just shake the bottle, since sometimes when u set it down, it kinda settles to the bottom. If that doesn%26#039;t work, just shave ur pits or get a different type of deodorant

Nose or lip peircing?
I really want to get a peirceing when I turn 16 but I don%26#039;t know what I want or what would look better on me.
Right now I%26#039;m thinking nose ring, or lip ring.
I%26#039;m not sure. =/
Opinions on how those would look.
Other suggestions?
Here%26#039;s a picture of me to maybe help you decide what would look better?

(not fishing for compliments, and any nasty comments about my looks arn%26#039;t needed. kthanks)
Help is appreciated. :D
Nose or lip peircing?
get a studded lip ring on the right side dat would be tight
Nose or lip peircing?
Oh either would look great on you, though I%26#039;d go for the lip piercing personally. A single one, maybe even on one side, would look awesome! Go for it!
Reply:Nose
Reply:nose.....
Reply:nose :D
Reply:lip ring
nose rings seem too common and are a real pest to clean (or so i hear..i dont have mine done)
and u can choose from only like 4 things
-septum
-bar
-right nostril, left nostril
and u have more options with a lip ring
-spider bites
-snake bites
-monroe
-etc....
i say a monroe or a bottom left piercing would look fantastic on u, personally
Reply:Go with the nose stud. NOT only does it look better i think personally but when you get older you cant have visible peirceings when you get a job. A nose ring you can get a clear or skin color spacer to hide it. Unlike the lip... it is more noticable to see with out a ring in!! just my thoughts
Reply:nose girl.
Reply:Eithir would look great. Thas a hard on for me to pick. But which ever you chose you will look great in.
Reply:septum. its not too common and if you want to take it out later you can and no one will see a scar
Reply:They both would look great on you I wouldve said the lip but its more visible and nose peircings arent and they have covers on them so you wont get messed with at work or shools not allowing them but its on you they both would look great on you
Reply:I think nose too, because they hurt less, are a snap tp keep clean and heal and lip rings can get infected way easier, I have seen some nasty ones, also a much less noticeable scar if you do decide to take it out. And nose is a piercing you can keep in until you are a grandma.. well lip too I guess, But nose rings don%26#039;t really go out of style :D
Reply:your nose, on the left side..your your eyebrow on the right side..something smal though, nothing big and flashy

Is this girl too thin for someone of her height ( she is 5'10 )??
the girl on the right is one of my friends sisters and i think she is too skinny ( my friend is in the blue dress but she is normal weight wise ). she says she works out and i think its weird cuz she is thin enough and idk if its for the right reasons or not. dont u think so??
http://i27.tinypic.com/2yzbdrt.jpg
i jus wanted opinions cuz hopefuly i am not the only one who thinks shes too skinny. i dont think she has any eating disorders but im not at their house all the time. her sister told me she has always been that thin. here%26#039;s her face so u can judge if her face is too thin based on its structure: http://i29.tinypic.com/2k109.jpg
i think she should just model lol
Is this girl too thin for someone of her height ( she is 5%26#039;10 )??
Very thin, for 5%26#039;10%26#039;%26#039;, yeah very thin legs, women need to have a little meat on them
Is this girl too thin for someone of her height ( she is 5%26#039;10 )??
not really but it couldnt hurt her to get some more meat on her bones and as for you friend in the blue dress i think that her body is perfect just the way it is
Reply:she is thin enough, lots of girls are thin like that just by their genes.but no she couldnt model because she sort of looks like a horse.no offense
Reply:She is thin but not sickly.
Ive seen worse, some people are naturally more thin then others.
I dont see anything %26quot;wrong%26quot; with her size.
Sure if she gained a pound or two it wouldnt hurt her in anyway but she isnt in a state where she must gain some weight.
As long as she eats normal nothing to worry about.
Im 5%26#039;3%26quot; and im on the thin side for my hieght but i eat healthy and fine so im in no concern.
Reply:think paris hilton has gained some weight.
Reply:Not too thin for modeling. Not unhealthy thin. Can%26#039;t afford to lose even a pound, though. A few more pounds wouldn%26#039;t hurt.

i jus wanted opinions cuz hopefuly i am not the only one who thinks shes too skinny. i dont think she has any eating disorders but im not at their house all the time. her sister told me she has always been that thin. here%26#039;s her face so u can judge if her face is too thin based on its structure: http://i29.tinypic.com/2k109.jpg
i think she should just model lol
Reply:She is very thin... but it may just be her structure...

I hate the hair on my arms, what can i do?
theyre not too bad, but i have freckles on my arms aswell so its really rank and i hate my arms because of it. making them lighter might help but i dont think so. im not going to shave them because it makes it worse, so does anyone know the name of a good product that could help me? cheers

Nair, Veet, or waxing...
I recommed veet because it doesn%26#039;t smell as bad as nair.
I hate the hair on my arms, what can i do?
WAX!
Reply:you can use one of those creams named veet or nair, they really remove hair from your body better than shaving. And yeah make sure to keep the cream on your skin from 5 to 7 minutes or as directed. Hope it helps.
Reply:rogaine and bleach. trust me.
Reply:I was going to say shave every time you shower cause it worked for me and my arm hair grows so slow and way lighter than it used to but wax often its gonna hurt Im sure but the more often you remove hair with waxing, shaving, hair removing lotions or whatever the slower and lighter it will grow.
Reply:whatever you do don%26#039;t shave them it will make them ticker and you can%26#039;t go all your life shaving them sooner or later youll look even more hairy.. :p

Best Acne Cleanser?
Today I got yelled at by a Body Shop representative, who stated that Proactiv leaves pits in your skin, causing craters and dries it out badly. I have experienced the dryness, but I just put lotion on it because I truly think Proactiv is the only thing that will work on my sensitive, dry skin.
However, I%26#039;m tired of paying $50 every ten weeks for Proactiv and I would like to avoid craters, so, what is the best cleanser that curbs acne and doesn%26#039;t destroy my already dry skin? I%26#039;m super allergic to Clearasil and some Clean and Clear products, such as their line for fighting extreme acne, is waaay too acidic for my skin... I break out really bad.
Please help me, I need a new face wash. :[

OMG, the same thing happened to me. This lady from the body shop got all mad because I was using clearisal. Anyway, I got this deep cleansing seaweed stuff from the body shop with this little facial brush. (it gives you a deeper cleanse.) my acne cleared up within a few days. It was amazing!
BTW, the stuff I got is at the body shop and the people will help you pick out your type of facial soap by your skin condition.

Do tattooists sometimes screw up?
I was just wondering, do PROFESSIONAL tattooists sometimes screw up lines??
Thinking on it, no tattooist could be absolutely perfect. Every tattoo would have to have a couple of messed up lines wouldnt they?
Do tattooists sometimes screw up?
If you move around too much even a professional tattooist can screw up. If you stay still it should be fine.

Reply:yes! the artist seriously screwed up my first tattoo. he was barely more than an apprentice, so its my own fault for trusting him with my skin, but he was a proffessional and i was completely still. he filled in stuff that was supposed to be left blank, missed a lot of the fill, and the lines wavered.
tattoo artists aren%26#039;t perfect, but if you chose carefully and review the artist%26#039;s portfolio you should be fine.
even though he screwed up i still got more ink--just from a better artist.
Reply:yes, they can mispell names, or draw some crap
Reply:Yes I think so, because no body is perfect, even tattooists.
But I think that if you have done enough research of a particular tattooist, then you will know better.

Differin&eyebrow waxing?
i use differin acne cream on my face every night and i know im not allowed to get my eyebrows waxed while using differin so what i was wondering was: how long to i have to stop using the cream for before my skin is ok to get waxed? thanks!
Differin%26amp;eyebrow waxing?
I use it too and it makes your skin sensitive so stay off of it for about a week before getting your eyebrows waxed. But if you are near a store called Merle Norman, I recommend going there to get your eyebrows waxed because they have eyebrow waxing that is for girls who use acne products such as differin so that it will not hurt your skin when waxing. Hope this helps!
Differin%26amp;eyebrow waxing?
Get your brows threaded. It is an Indian technique that pulls the hair out by twisting a piece of thread. I have had my skin ripped off by wax and now I have a scar. Threading is a much better alternative.

see if ur parents will take you to a dermatologist, and most insurances cover that.

Belly Button Piercing Help?
I just got my belly button pierced today.
What are some things to avoid washing it with?
And, What are somethings that you reccommend washing it with?
Belly Button Piercing Help?
salt water is the best (:
Belly Button Piercing Help?
wash with alcohol swabs probably dont wash with soap an water hope i helped
Reply:I got mine done a few months ago and I was told to wash it with warm water and antibacterial soap (like on a Q-tip) a couple of times a day and to soak it once at night with a salt-warm water mix. They told me to stay away from anything with a fragrance in it, hydrogen peroxide and rubbing alcohol until it was fully healed. Also, keep it out of sun (like when tanning) it gets really dry and irritated (but you can put a little bit of lotion on it). I hope I helped!
Reply:Do not use any harsh chemicals such as alcohol, peroxide, bactine, neosporin or antibiotics, these can clog and dry out the piercing causing infection and prolong healing.
What you can use to help with the healing process is do sea salt soaks 3 times a day for 10-15 mins. Also clean the area with a non-scented antibacterial soap such as Dial atleast once a day. H2Ocean spray is also another great aftercare product that helps piercing heal healthy, its a sterlized aersol sea salt spray that hold 60+ enzymes which helps with healing.

Does lazer work on your mustach area?
Yes. Laser works in all areas, it just depends on what you%26#039;ve done in the past and your skin tone/hair color. Laser works best on fair skinned/dark haired people. It also works well on hair that hasn%26#039;t been messed with before. But all you would need to do is continue with treatments until it was done. Some areas take only a couple of treatments, some take many. Good luck!

I don%26#039;t have any tattoos, because I tend to be very impulsive. With piercings, I can just remove them. With tats, I don%26#039;t want to get something I won%26#039;t be happy with for a long time. I have two designs I%26#039;m very serious about. Now I%26#039;m just looking for the right place to get them done.

I%26#039;m 18 and a girl, and right now I have three lobe piercings in each ear and a tragus. I%26#039;m planning on adding nipples and either an industrial or a cartilage.

Products from Australia?
Okay, so there are these products called bodycacoon (http://www.fructis.com.au/family_bodycar... and they are only sold in Australian grocery stores. I have used them from a friend and am wondering how to get them w/o having to travel there right now? (Though will be eventually) thanks.
Does getting your belly button piercied hurt?
yes. yes it does. i havent expienced it but my sister has and she sed yeah it does.... i think. it probly does
Does getting your belly button piercied hurt?
why wouldnt it?
its a needle PIERCING your body..
duhhhhhhh.
hahahaha.
Does getting your belly button piercied hurt?
Yup, but its only temporary, and it is worth it :)
Reply:yes but not as much as you think, the clamp (when they hold your belly button in place to put the needle in) is a bit uncomfortable and the needle feels weird. it looks awesome after it though :)
hope this helped :) :) :)
Reply:It didn%26#039;t for me at all. Take your bellybutton and pinch it pretty hard and you will see that it doesn%26#039;t really have a whole lot of feeling. They clamp the area first and that is actually more uncomfortable than the needle.
It was sore for 2-3 days afterward, but the actual act of getting it pierced was nothing.
Reply:yeah kind of but it depends on how much pain you can tolerate..it felt like some1 pinched me hard with their nails..then again i had to do mine 2 cuz the guy who did the 1st 1 didn%26#039;t know wtf he was doing n it got infected..so do your homework b4 u get it done
Reply:it depends but from personal experience it the clamp that hurts more than the needle
Reply:Nope just like a fast pinch and then just a little sore/tenderness for a few days.
Reply:Anything piercing your skin hurts. But its not unbarable. Its over quickly, takes a long time to heal so you must be patient. its no HUGE deal.
Reply:Well it really depends on the person and their pain tolerance. I have a high pain tolerance so it didn%26#039;t hurt for me that much. My best friend on the other hand has a low pain tolerance and thought that it hurt worse then any other piercing she%26#039;s had. So honestly no one can give you a straight/correct answer for this question! It%26#039;s going to have to be up to you to decide if you are able to take pain if it does happen to hurt and how much you%26#039;re willing to take. If you focus on the pain and how much you think it%26#039;s going to hurt then I can guarantee it will hurt more. Get your mind focused on something else and it will be over before you know it!
Reply:It does hurt some but it last for literally 5 seconds then it%26#039;s all over. When I got mine pierced I was incredibly nervous about the pain but I still went through with it and it wasn%26#039;t too bad. Plus, just knowing that I went through with it despite my fear was the greatest feeling.
Reply:Depends how your body reacts to pain. What may be painful to some may not be as painful to you. Honestly I didn%26#039;t feel pain, it felt more like a hard pinch that lasted for a seconds. Its bearable and isn%26#039;t so bad as people are portraying it to be. Just make sure to get it done by a pro piercer who uses sterlized equippment %26amp; hollow needles, also keep up with the after care to prevent infection. Good Luck

At home waxing?
what is the best at home waxing kit? ive tried surgi wax, nads honey wax and veet pre waxed strips. the surgi stuff never came off and i had to scrape it off, the nads didnt pull hair off and left goop on my leg and the veet just broke my hair and left it all stubly. what can i use.
At home waxing?
nair... works like a charm :)
hope this helped :) :) :)
good luck
At home waxing?
go to beauty supply stores where they actually sell waxing material. They will help you with the best stuff for you. you can use hard wax or strip wax, so I would test a bunch of stuff before you decide which works best. Put baby powder on before you wax and that may help also! :)
hope that helps you!
Reply:i liked veet ... y not invest in a wax machine warmer thing you can get at the beauty supply place..the cream wax works better than the honey...

Do you believe that a tattoo can actualy do this?
I%26#039;m getting a tattoo on my 18the birthday (next month) and its going to be a hibiscus flower on my ankle. My reason for getting this tattoo is because i believe that it represents happiness and beauty. I am hoping that this tattoo will help boost my self confidence and give me high hopes since im going off to college in the fall. I also feel that it represents %26quot;the new me%26quot; because im so happy to be starting off fresh in college.
Do you believe that a tattoo can actually boost your self confidence? Or am i hoping for to much?

Reply:I don%26#039;t see anything wrong with getting it, especially if it%26#039;s in a place such as your ankle. I think a flower is a good choice, and I also believe that it can boost your self-confidance, if you believe it can.

Reply:no youre right. when i got my ears pierced i had a lot more self confidence because i thought i looked more attractive, and others found that true too.
when i got my first tattoo (asian symbol for love) a lot of people noticed it and complimented me. it also serves as a reminder for me, as it can for you. maybe a fresh start or celebration. its actually very personal as it is appealing, so yes. it can boost your self conf. cont. to believe in your self!
Reply:I believe it will. It seems to mean something to you so I definitely believe it will boost your self confidence.
Reply:if you end up loking the tattoo, yes.
Reply:Sounds like you might be a bit undecided and are trying to convince yourself that it is the right thing to do. Maybe you could write down reasons that you want the tattoo and reasons why you might regret getting one. Talk to people you know who have them and if your really feel very insecure or need to build your self confidence maybe talk with a counselor.
Reply:i reckon it can boost self confidence.... hibiscus are pretty flowers.. i 4 the ppl who are saying u will regret it later in life.. thats ur choice... u can look at later on and go ew or say oh i rember when i was 18 and i got this for my bday
Reply:I understand what you%26#039;re saying. I got my first tattoo today of some kanji that has meaning to me. I%26#039;m also 18 and heading to college and I just wanted something to remind me of the past, present, and my future. I think you have to be confident and courageous to get a tattoo, so you should be proud! It might definitely boost your self confidence.
Reply:It was recently my 18th birthday and I went and got a tattoo. I%26#039;m still super excited about it. I feel that it did boost my confidence some because everyone keeps saying how awesome it is. Some say I was so brave to do it. I think it depends on the person and the feedback you get back.
Reply:A tattoo cannot change your life, attitude or self confidence. Only you can do that. The fact that you are going to college should give you plenty of self confidence. Not everyone can do that, you know! You%26#039;re obviously a very smart woman to accomplish that.
But you need to be smart enough to realize that no one has a lot of self confidence at the beginning of their freshman year, or their first few months in a job, etc. Until you get to know the ropes, study the campus (so you always know where you%26#039;re going) and get involved. THAT will help to raise your self confidence.
If you really want to get a tattoo, get it somewhere where it doesn%26#039;t show. By getting it on your ankle, you are limiting your job options. The tattoo will mean the same thing on your derriere as it will on your ankle. And you will have a little secret that will make you smile when you think about it and make everyone wonder what you%26#039;re thinking about.
Reply:A tatto might actually bring you down.

p.s. it means that your body is the temple of God it is not yours..%26amp; you should care for it fro it is Gods. God died on the cross for you for your freedom for your health for your everything and because he loves you so much He died for you the least you can do is honor Him with your body and not tattoo it.
Reply:Yes it can.
It also becomes a great reminded of good things when things seem so bad.
Though it isnt a %26quot;gaurentee%26quot; that the tattoo will do anything of the sort. It all depends on the person.
Reply:Sounds like a beautiful tattoo and for good reasons, I hope you like it. In my opinion it is more like a placebo, you convince your self it will boost your confidence and it will because you have convinced your self it will. If that makes any sense. So in a way yes in a way no.
Good luck with your tattoo and college!

i think that your hibiscus will be a constant reminder of the idealism you felt toward the future at the moment you received it. and whether or not you feel that idealism in the future, having the constant reminder alone will have a positive life effect in and of itself.

Its not recommended to change the jewelry out until the piercing is fully healed which can take btw 6-12 months for a navel piercing. Changing the jewelry can result into irritation causing an infection because of the change in metal quality while it was still healing. What also can happen is that you could have easily ruptured or tear the inside of the piercing which can happen while inserting a barbel before its healed. Since you have already changed it, I hope its a good quality metal with no nickel and it was thourougly cleansed before you put it on. Keep an eye on it, if its starts to get puffy, red, hot to the touch or ooze a green or yellow tint discharge go back to your piercer and have them take a look at it. Good Luck.

Does putting chapstick on your lips soften them?
Is there anything else that i might have in my house that will?
Does putting chapstick on your lips soften them?
well some ppl it do......but it depends on what ur usin it 4....like if u have something on ur lips,or u just want them 2 be soft
Does putting chapstick on your lips soften them?
Good old Vaseline works best....
Reply:no it hardens them
Reply:Wearing chapstick should be part of your daily life and hygiene, it is good for your lips%26amp; keeps them from getting ugly and chap and from getting blisters at walmart they are only about 69 cents or a dollar. they work amazingly. you should use either carmax or blistex. carmax tastes bitter but is good too. blistex doesnt taste bitter and works the same. btw. chapstick also keeps moisture in therefore making them shiny and great....lipgloss sucks the moisture ut making them ugly but for the moment making them look skiny....chap stick is better.
Reply:I don%26#039;t think so, I think it stops them from becoming further chapped.
But drink lots of water and give yourself a sugar scrub(brown sugar mixed with a little milk to rub on lips) so you won%26#039;t have the problem of chapped lips to begin with.
Reply:If you wanna soften your lips: apply quite a lot of Vaseline then take a clean toothbrush and rub your lips. Your lips will go red while rubbing because of blood circulation so don%26#039;t worry about that. The best time to do it is at night before going to bed.
Then use a good brand of chapstick.
Reply:Chapsticks? Are those like lipbalms? If yes, then yes. :)
You could use anything that will heal chapped lips. that means...olive oil,....[just search on Google]

If I get a tattoo, will people think I am trying to capture youth?
I am 36. I have really thought about my motives and I believe that I am comfortable with my age. I am not looking for sports cars or affairs with young men. I%26#039;m not trying to be something I am not. I dress age appropriately etc.... I want to get a tattoo. It%26#039;s been on my mind for a while. I would like something stylish with color. I am happily married with a child. I really want to do it for myself. And to be perfectly honest, I have always admired women who get tattoos in a way. They seem independent and so confident.
I am starting business school in September. I am being silly because I am wondering if as a professional if the tattoo will hurt my career. I want to get one on the back of my leg or on my foot. Or I guess my back shoulder but that seems so boring. And no way the ankle. But maybe around my waist. I would love to get one behind my ear or at the nape of my neck but I don%26#039;t know if I have the guts to do that.
Just wondering your experiences.
If I get a tattoo, will people think I am trying to capture youth?
Get it anywhere that your clothes will cover. Trust me.
If I get a tattoo, will people think I am trying to capture youth?
I got ALL my tats in my 30%26#039;s. Old enough to be smart enough about my decisions. Think it thru, if you like it and your in the mid 30%26#039;s, I say go for it! Just be careful, ink can be addictive, I%26#039;m quite a %26quot;colorful%26quot; guy now!
Reply:I haven%26#039;t gotten a tattoo yet, but I plan to as soon as I can.
I think it%26#039;s an amazing thing to have, and not something to be ashamed of. It can symbolize your life, your future, basically anything that means something to you. As long as its not %26quot;outrageous%26quot;, but I definitely don%26#039;t think there%26#039;s anything wrong with you getting a tattoo. I think it would be really amazing.
Best of luck! :)
Reply:you should get barbed wire quartersleeves (around the bicep kinda thing) looks totally badass and is covered by a suit, seriously though, during a board meeting or something you could role up your sleeves and kick some serious *** (figuratively?)

Reply:There%26#039;s a teacher at my school who has tattoos everywhere on his torso. You know why it%26#039;s on his torso? It%26#039;s because he can cover it when looking for a job. It%26#039;s better to cover your tattoos so people wont have bad thoughts about you and you can get a job better that way. My teacher explained that to my class. Get a tattoo on a place where you can cover it.
Reply:I%26#039;m about your age and I think tattoos are great...BUT...since you are going into a professional career, I recommend getting one somewhere on your body that is normally covered by clothing. Although tattoos are common, the business world may see it differently. The only other thing I would keep in mind is that they are permanent, so be sure to pick something you won%26#039;t mind looking at for the rest of your life!
Reply:Get it someplace inconspicuous so that when youre in your profession it isn%26#039;t visible. But out of the job who cares? Lots of people have tats!! Get 1 or 2 if you want. I have 2 on my back.
Reply:i think it%26#039;s awesome that you want to get a tattoo for yourself - that%26#039;s how it should be. and if you%26#039;re getting it for yourself, it shouldn%26#039;t matter what people think of it, even at your age.
since you do seem worried about how it would make you appear as a business person, maybe you should get it in an inconspicuous place - like your leg (which can always be covered by pants), or your foot (always covered by shoes), or on your waist (always covered by a shirt/pants).
Reply:i have one on the back of my neck and love it!
good thing about it is that its very easily hidden with hair, so when i have to look professional, i can simply wear my hair down and its not an issue.
if youre planning on going into the business world, i suggest you get one in a place that is easily hidden (back of neck, foot, hip, or anywhere that you can easily cover with clothing)
dont be afraid.
it really doesnt hurt much at all and its a very liberating experience.
i say go for it!
good luck and best wishes :)

Reply:There should be no problem with getting the tattoo. The tattoo is on my wrist, so it shows, though I could cover it with a long sleeve if I ever felt the need.
I am very very happy with it.

times are changing and people are getting alot more lenient about the whole tattoo thing considering 1 in every 5 people has one but since your not sure where you gonna end up in the big scheme of life yet i would suggest getting one that can easily be hidden or kept secret..

There is no comparison. It is a proven fact that women handle pain better than men. The design possibilities are endless. It is just a matter of what you prefer. I would recommend that you ask the tattoo artist to draw something for you so that you have something that is original. The two most important things to remember while you are being tattooed are firstly remember to breathe and secondly hold still. Holding still is extremely important, this will have a huge effect on how your tattoo comes out. Do you want nice straight on point lines or line work that is shaky and wavy. I have tattoos all over and I am very proud of them. My husband has been a professional tattoo artist for 21 years this year. If I could I would probably get a new tattoo every week. LOL. I really hope this helps. Good Luck !

It helps to keep the moisture in the upper layers of the epidermis by preventing it from evaporating.

Supposedly, toner will minimize pores, but in actuality, it just temporarily tightens the skin to give a smoother canvas for makeup. It can also be used to remove makeup that has settled into pores throughout the day.
Moisturizer, honestly, is your best bet if you%26#039;re looking to make your face look, as you say, %26quot;better%26quot;.

Reply:When you wash your face, it removes the ph that your skin needs to repair itself. It takes a while for your skin to repair the ph on its own. A toner will balance your ph. What made you decide to get a tattoo? I had always wanted one and I wanted my own design, as I am an artist and its an expression of mine.
Why did you want one? Expression. and to remind me of my true self. (my tattoo repersents that)

IF YOU WANT ONE- Why do you want to get a tattoo?
**By the way- i%26#039;m totally for tattoos, so dont think i%26#039;m being rude with this question. I%26#039;m just curious. =)
For the ppl with tats- Why did you get your tattoo/tattoos? For the ppl that wants tats- Why do you want one?
I got my first one because my mom told me not to. Now I get them because I like them.

What made you decide to get a tattoo? I had always wanted one and I wanted my own design, as I am an artist and its an expression of mine.
Why did you want one? Expression. and to remind me of my true self. (my tattoo repersents that)

also there is a tanning lotion called Maui or something that you can only get in Hawaii...its fantastic but hard to come across...you do not burn at all and tan very quickly!!! ive been trying to find it to buy over the net and just found this website...

Working with children and having a tattoo?
Having a tattoo doesnt make a difference if your working in a daycare center, right? The tattoo is just a hibiscus flower on my ankle. I%26#039;m going to college for Early Childhood Education and i plan on either working in a daycare center, working with Special Ed toddlers or working as a preschool teacher. Would a tattoo affect whether or not i get hired?? Again, it will be on my ankle...
Working with children and having a tattoo?
It shouldn%26#039;t. You can always cover it if you think it might. This is your third question. If you are having this many questions and doubts maybe you should either pick a spot you absolutely know won%26#039;t be seen or don%26#039;t get one!
Working with children and having a tattoo?
Depends on who%26#039;s hiring. At an elementary school, middle school, and high school were I live there are plenty of teachers and people who work at the schools with tattoos in places for everyone to see.
Reply:That should be fine, especially since it%26#039;s small, you can easily cover it, and it%26#039;s not an offensive image in the least. Also, many teachers nowadays have tattoos without it causing a problem.
Reply:As long as you keep it covered you shouldn%26#039;t have any issue and should it ever come out into the open at least it is tasteful.
Reply:I am a Special Education teacher, I have a large tattoo across my back. Its never been an issue, there are tons of people at my school (including administrators) who have them. Teachers have huge contracts-- mine is a book 124 pages long! In all of that, it dosen%26#039;t mention tattoos or piercings!
Reply:this depends upon the child care center in question. the center where i worked was somewhat lenient with tattoos as long as the tattoo itself was not offensive or obtrusive and could be covered for the most part. as you%26#039;re talking about a tattoo on your ankle, you really shouldn%26#039;t have an issue at all as the majority of the year it%26#039;ll be covered by pants, shoes, socks, hose, etc.
your best bet will be to ask around. call the child care centers in your area and tell them that you%26#039;re doing a school project and ask for a copy of their company dress code policy. it%26#039;s better to do things that way than to let them know from the door that you already have a tattoo as many people (especially in the child care field) frown on body art.

How can someone get pro-bono cosmetic plastic surgery procedures done?
Does anyone know of a way a person could be considered as a medical students practice subject, and maybe could act as their practice subject throughout their cosmetic plastic surgery training, in order to receive cosmetic plastic surgical procedures free of charge?
Or is there a way to be considered for pro-bono cosmetic plastic surgery?
How can someone get pro-bono cosmetic plastic surgery procedures done?
do you really want to be a students guinea pig? you must really hate yourself to be desperate enough for that even to cross your mind. get a sugar daddy, thats the only way someones going to pay for your insecurities. but id suggest putting the money into some therapy sessions.
How can someone get pro-bono cosmetic plastic surgery procedures done?
I bet you probably could. If cancer patients can recieve free experimental chemo, I bet you can get free experimental silicone.
Reply:Most likely this would only be done for %26quot;reconstructive surgery%26quot; which is where plastic surgery originated. It%26#039;s not the type of surgery that %26quot;enhances breasts%26quot; or %26quot;is a face lift%26quot;. It%26#039;s the kind of surgery that fixes someones face when they were in an accident or rebuilds areas that needed to be removed due to burns/amputations/birth deformities.
If your just out to get free %26#039;make-over%26#039; surgery you should probably get counseling first. If it%26#039;s reconstruction you need, ask your primary care physician for help.
Reply:NO
No surgical procedures are permitted on patients by medical students anywhere. However a doctor taking an internship (which means that they are no longer a student, and are a licensed physician) would be allowed to practice their skill under the watchful eye of a specialist physician or hospital team, and then be able to perform medical procedures. Since a qualified surgeon is always present and either watches or assists, in most cases this procedure would still be a fee procedure. In essence since the specialist is there you would be paying for their expertise as usual.
Pro-bono plastic surgery has been performed by various doctors for reconstructive surgery, when the patient is in need and cannot afford the procedure, and of course for promotion of their skill, as is seen in Doctor 90210 where the video taping is aired for commercial purposes, so the company in this case (FOX) is actually paying for the procedure so that they can tape it and broadcast it.....and the patient gets the procedure free. Then of course there are other shows, such as Extreme Makeover where the same applies and the patient gets the procedure free.
Insurance regulations are rather strict on Doctors, and giving away services for free can result in many negative consequences ...if something was to go wrong, the patient can claim free might have resulted in substandard care....etc etc...so Doctors as a rule do not do this unless there are extenuating circumstances.
That being said, I do know that there is a website where ladies may get breast augmentation ... free...by joining the site and posting pictures etc...so that viewers can contribute if they like them, and the money contributed once it reaches the necessary amount to get the surgery is then sent to a qualified plastic surgeon to perform the augmentation, after which the patient posts %26#039;after pictures%26#039; etc....but in essence the procedure is %26#039;free%26#039; ... http://myfreeimplants.com/ as was featured on the Today Show.....

How can I get rid of really sweaty hands and feet?
They don%26#039;t smell but the smallest bit of heat makes them break out in sweat.
Dad%26#039;s side of genetics, dammit.
But the weird thing is, I rarely sweat under the arms.
How can I get rid of really sweaty hands and feet?
chop %26#039;em off..that will solve all your problems!!
don%26#039;t worry, you don%26#039;t really need arms or legs, there just a Nuisance xD :)
How can I get rid of really sweaty hands and feet?
Soak them in tea.
Reply:I don%26#039;t know about your hands but maybe you could try putting some baby powder in your socks and shoes to absorb the moisture. Talk to your doctor also.
Reply:I am the same way - my hands and feet just drip, and my underarms are dry as a bone. After suffering for years, I finally saw a Dermatologist, who prescribed Robinul. My hands are dry as a bone, and my feet get clammy only once in a while. It%26#039;s a really crappy way to live (it affected every part of my life), but there is hope. If the Robinul is ineffective, there are surgeries, or Botox injections, but the Robinul works for a lot of cases, and is less invasive, so it%26#039;s definitely worth a try. Good luck!
Reply:for your feet, use foot powder... my brother has the same problem with his feet, and he uses lander foot powder... you should find the brand that will work best work for you..
for your hands.... hmm.. i don%26#039;t know, maybe you should just carry a hankerchief so you can wipe your hands...

Zebra Piercing and Tattoos?
Does anyone who has gotten pierced there know how young they will pierce WITH parental permission? A facial piercing, to be exact. Thank you in advance.
Zebra Piercing and Tattoos?
Zebra%26#039;s is one of the best places to get pierced (I have gotten multiple ear piercings from them). Facial piercings will be done if your parents are there I believe at any age.
Zebra Piercing and Tattoos?
Like any other reputable piercing shop either 16 w/ parent or guardian consent or 18+ to get it on your own.
Reply:I have never heard of that place.. why not try calling and asking them as I%26#039;m sure they get that question a lot?

Ridding upper lip hair...?
okay, so awhile ago I tried plucking my upper lip hair. But I only did about one cm on each side. When it grew back it is definately thicker and longer than the middle area that i didnt pluck. I%26#039;ve been bleaching it which is great for the middle area, but the outside area you can still see...even though the bleach does lighten it. It used to not bother me but I can notice whenever i look close in themirror and i am conscience of it whenever i talk to someone. I%26#039;m scared waxing will leave an obvious rash or that it will become a vicious cycle.
HELP!!!

Ridding upper lip hair...?
Try %26quot;threading%26quot; it%26#039;s a natural way to remove hair, a little painful, about the same as waxing, but the only tool is a piece of thread. This is done by a professional, for about the same cost as waxing. It last for about 3-4 weeks.
Reply:I have the same problem, but I would never pluck or wax it.
All I can tell you is to either get it laser removed, or just keep bleaching it. There%26#039;s nothing else.
Reply:i got my upper lip waxed for the first time a bit ago.
it hurt a lot the first time, but if you go back every 2 or so weeks, it will be normal. i heart it because even if at first you get a little rash, as you go back it wont ever happen again! :)
with love, dahling.
Reply:Other than waxing or bleaching they%26#039;re is also laser hair removal which can be costly and time consuming because it can take more than one session to permanetly clear away the hair in the area. I also have very dark %26amp; noticeable upper lip hair, I use Sally Hansen facial bleaching cream which works really well. Its not that noticeable at all since it lightens the hair, no on can notice it from afar or close up, unless they are focusing real close attention which isn%26#039;t usual.
Reply:we have try it all ;pluck,shave,wax,bleach,cream....pluck ,wax and cream makes the root of the hair thinner .
as i said for me cream and some plucking works ....as im not growing much upper lip anymore....
Reply:Ok so I know alot of people have this insecurity about upper lip hair... and they should be. Sorry to be so blunt. But I think its the turnoff of the century to any guy. The best way to get rid of it is waxing.... and make sure that you ice the area before doing it and after to avoid swelling. nothing to be ashamed about, all girls go through it. If you feel that you bruise easily, do it in a time in which you think that you would be ok to be submissive for two days. After a while you will be ok and your body will be used to it and you will no longer scab. My gf went through this and now its much better.
Reply:I have the same dilema, but there are several things you can do:
a)Waxing
It might be a bit painful at first but you get used to it. Waxing also removes hair from the root so it won%26#039;t grow as fast. Stores sell special wax strips that are gentle for the face.
b)Hair Removal Creams
These are the easiest to use and are the most gentle. They work out dissolving what bonds the hair to the skin. It sort of works like shaving because it doesn%26#039;t remove the hair from the root.
c)Hand-Held Hair Removal Machines
These machines are really small and they remove the hair from the root and it%26#039;s the fastest out of the three. They might be expensive($20-$30) but its all worth it!
d) Laser Hair Removal
The most expensive out of the four, but it will permanetly remove the hair.
Whatever you do, DO NOT SHAVE! The hairs will grow back faster and thicker!
Hope this helps!
Good Luck!
Reply:Do up the wax, it%26#039;ll be red for a short while then settle. It won%26#039;t be a vicious cycle. A momentary ouch!, then vwalah!
Reply:The best thing to do is go to a salon and they can do threading to get rid of the upper lip hair. dont wax yourself you can ask them to do that for you in the salon
x
Reply:Shave it, that%26#039;s what I do. Make sure you shave it often though. ^^ And be careful not to cut your lip.

Reply:Shave it, that%26#039;s what I do. Make sure you shave it often though. ^^ And be careful not to cut your lip.
Some questions about a belly button piercing?
first off, i would just like to say i%26#039;d prefer not to see %26#039;wuss%26#039; or %26#039;skank%26#039; on these answers. people don%26#039;t ask questions to hear that kind of stuff.
anyways, when i usually get piercings, i shake a lot and my palms get sweaty. ( which is probably very common. ) and i%26#039;ve always wanted to get my belly button pierced.
i can handle the after pain of it, and the cleaning and such.
but i just have troubles with shaking violently before the piercing.
i was just wondering, how much does a belly button piercing hurt on a scale of one to ten? ( about a 4 or 5 being a normal ear piercing )
how long does it take to heal?
are there any prescriptions or other medication you can take to relax before you get a piercing?
Some questions about a belly button piercing?
You could just get numbing gel... I have never had the piercing done myself, but I hear it doesn%26#039;t hurt that bad.
Some questions about a belly button piercing?
Depends on what your body considers painful. What maybe be painful to some may not be as painful to you. When I got mine done, I did not feel any pain, instead it felt like a hard pinch that lasted for a few seconds. Its bearable. Just make sure to get it done by a pro piercer who uses sterlized equippment and hollow needles. Don%26#039;t worry about the nervousness this is normal. Navel piercing take btw 6-12 months to completely heal. I don%26#039;t recommend changing the jewelry until after its fully healed, changing it before its healed can cause a delay in the healing process and infection. There is no need to take any medication, the piercer will give you a few moments to relax and will talk it through, it%26#039;ll be quick the piercing process usually takes a few seconds. Good Luck.
Reply:it feels like a hard pinch with ur nails..it stops feeling sore after a few days 2 a week, but heals in 6 mnths..for me the ear piercing was worse..it felt like the cartilage piercing
Reply:3 or so its not bad at all just don%26#039;t get it caught on anything bc that%26#039;s hurts. healing i anywhere from 6 months to a year depending on your body (about a year for mine). umm you could try a lil benadryl to relax
Reply:I have the worst luck with getting piercings...I threw up on one piercer before but in all fairness, I got the center part of my ear pierced and it really hurt. However, when I got my belly button done, I didn%26#039;t even feel it. It is nothing but skin and fat that gets pierced, just like your ear lobes so I say go for it, stay calm, and just dont look at the needle and you will be just fine. The biggest problem that you seem to have (as well as myself) is your nerves so go someplace that you trust and try not to focus on what is happening. But it really doesn%26#039;t hurt at all.
Reply:I remember when I got mine when I was in 10th grade, I was shaking like crazy because I was terrified, but I warn you...try and to be as steady as possible because the last thing you want to do is shake and cause your piercer to stick themselves.
I say just try to stay as calm as possible, and while they pierce you KEEP YOUR EYES CLOSE AND DO NOT LOOK AT TH NEEDLE. Oh an make sure to eat something and drink water before you go.
As for the pain I would honestly rank it as a 1 or 2, this piercing really did not hurt me and it was my first body piercing. It becomes sore after wards but make sure not to lay on your stomach when u sleep and when you are showering/bathing be extra careful in that area, you do not want to bump it.
As for the healing some say 6 weeks but I kept mine in for two months just to be safe.
I am not sure if there are any types of medications to help you relax, I say just try to think positive and think about how awesome you belly will look after wards.
Really hope this helps.

Do you think its skanky when girls under the age of 16 have lots of piercings?
theres a girl in my year (im in year 10) who has her nipple, belly button, ears in three places and lip pierced. i think its really rank since she%26#039;s so young, and makes her look like a skank and try hard. what does everyone else think?
Do you think its skanky when girls under the age of 16 have lots of piercings?
Not at all.
It depends why she got the piercings, really-- people like me (I have seven piercings, soon to be nine) have them for personal reasons that don%26#039;t have anything to do with being %26quot;skanky%26quot; or sex. Each piercing means something very personal to me, and none of the piercings are for other people. They are 100% for me and no one else...so it doesn;t matter what other people think about them.
I have three in my left ear, two in the right, my septum and my left hand web pierced. I%26#039;m getting both my nipples done as soon as I do some more research and make sure it%26#039;s right for me.
I am partner in A%26amp;M Creators-- an executive position. My piercings don%26#039;t affect my work at all, and didn%26#039;t affect my advancement within the company. So if I like my piercings, and they aren%26#039;t hurting me or anyone else, does it really matter what people think of them?
Do you think its skanky when girls under the age of 16 have lots of piercings?
no i dont, considering ears are nothing, and the rest can%26#039;t be seen.
yes skanky if shes flashing everyone her piercings
Reply:No. It matters on how you present yourself.
I know a girl who has two lip piercings and an eyebrow piercing. Her hair is always neatly combed, she wears very little make up, and she dresses simply. Just by looking at her, you can tell that she is a very responsible and clean person.
Just because someone has piercings does not make them %26quot;skanky%26quot;. That%26#039;s a pretty small minded thing to say.
Reply:Why can%26#039;t people just be cool with whatever anyone else wants to do with their body? Cut em some slack. Young ladies and women have to stop being so hateful to each other.
Reply:Depends, some girls act very immature with there piercings which gives them a bad rep. What i consider skanky and trashy is when a 15 year old girl who wears a short top revealing her navel piercing in the mall compared to a girl who showing off her navel piercing at the beach or pool, depends on how the person presents themselves, it makes a big difference
Reply:have you even thorght she might like them?

Reply:No, it depends on their character.
Reply:No I don%26#039;t. But thats just my opinion. You would really think I was skanky then. I had got all of my piercings when I was under 16. By the time i was even 16 I had my industrial, labret, monroe, snug, vertical surface tragus, bellybutton, earlobes at a 00 gauge.

Why is it that some women think foot fetishes are weird when they paint their toe nails and get pedicures?
I mean I have a mild foot fetish and I see that many girls in these forums DETEST the idea of it. It%26#039;s like, don%26#039;t go make your feet all pretty if you don%26#039;t want them to be noticed. Luckily for me, all the girls I%26#039;ve dated have liked it when I give their feet attention, but some of these girls are such bitches about it.
Why is it that some women think foot fetishes are weird when they paint their toe nails and get pedicures?
I don%26#039;t get mine done or make them all pretty so that doesn%26#039;t really apply to me, but I don%26#039;t really care if you have a fetish. More power to you.
Why is it that some women think foot fetishes are weird when they paint their toe nails and get pedicures?
Everyone has there own preference. Its a fetish which is something some people go for and others don%26#039;t. Don%26#039;t expect for everyone to be so accepting about it when they%26#039;re not. Girls get their feet all pretty for different reasons other than just wanting %26quot;attention%26quot; from a person with a fetish.
Reply:Everyone is different and unless your fetish is hurting someone or being forced on someone who does not share it- I don%26#039;t think you should be prosecuted for it... saying that let me try to answer your question.
I get pedicures to take care of my feet, not to make them sexually attractive. Likewise I get my toe nails painted to match my nails so my *entire* body is nice and attractive to me and to others- but not necessarily in a sexual way. I use my clothes to change between attractive and sexual.
I can understand if you have a foot fetish that you will focus in on my feet, be sexually attracted to them and then reach the natural conclusion that I made them nice to arouse you (because you feel such a strong sexual attraction to them). However you need to understand that to someone without a foot fetish, there are no sexual feelings involved, no matter what color I paint my nails or how soft they are. This might be the equivalent of the feelings you get seeing a woman with eye make-up on. You may find her attractive, but you will not be sexually aroused by her eyelids or lashes alone. You may even find the idea of focusing on these parts singly to be odd and probably would never dream of accusing her of tempting eye fetishists by making up her eyes even if she did because you are not sexually focused on her eyes.
I dated a guy in college that was into feet- not a fanatic- probably similar to your interest. I am not and it did kind of weird me out when a foot massage developed into more- which really turned me off. Not because he found my feet attractive so much as the sudden sexualizing of a body part that I thought of as attractive, but not sexually. I think that if he had started by assuming not every woman who gets their nails painted or pedicures shares his fetish and than approached me in that fashion, I would have been much more receptive to his %26quot;attentions%26quot;. Pedicures and painted toe nails are mainstream now (even if they were only done by fetishists in the past) while I am assuming the number of foot fetishists has remained about the same- therefore this would not be a reliable why to tell if someone would be receptive to your advances. (perhaps unfair, but there it is) Perhaps by making mild sexual comments initially outside of the bedroom like %26quot;the curve of your instep is really sensual%26quot; or %26quot;I think the butterflies on your toes are *very* sexy%26quot;- I would have been more receptive later on to his attentions, because I would have been *expecting* them. A natural reaction to someone showing unwanted sexual attention is usually%26quot;bitchy%26quot;, often because any milder reaction seems to give the guy false hope that you will go along with it, if they beg or insist enough... and for these girls this was unwanted sexual attention.
This is just my opinion, but I hope it helps you understand the other side of the fence a bit.
Good luck :)
** In answer to your addition- I think if you liked the guy that going along with the foot fetish would not be that much of a reach to someone with a healthy sexual outlook- especially if you were willing to incorporate it in what ever she was into or enjoys. Especially as most people have heard of foot fetishists somewhere main stream and there are a wide variety of ways to satisfy you while pleasuring her. Just go slow and make it enjoyable to her v. expecting the scenario to follow your your fantasies- at least initially.
