Ridding upper lip hair...?

okay, so awhile ago I tried plucking my upper lip hair. But I only did about one cm on each side. When it grew back it is definately thicker and longer than the middle area that i didnt pluck. I%26#039;ve been bleaching it which is great for the middle area, but the outside area you can still see...even though the bleach does lighten it. It used to not bother me but I can notice whenever i look close in themirror and i am conscience of it whenever i talk to someone. I%26#039;m scared waxing will leave an obvious rash or that it will become a vicious cycle.

HELP!!!
Ridding upper lip hair...?
electrolysis
Ridding upper lip hair...?
Try %26quot;threading%26quot; it%26#039;s a natural way to remove hair, a little painful, about the same as waxing, but the only tool is a piece of thread. This is done by a professional, for about the same cost as waxing. It last for about 3-4 weeks.
Reply:I have the same problem, but I would never pluck or wax it.

All I can tell you is to either get it laser removed, or just keep bleaching it. There%26#039;s nothing else.
Reply:i got my upper lip waxed for the first time a bit ago.

it hurt a lot the first time, but if you go back every 2 or so weeks, it will be normal. i heart it because even if at first you get a little rash, as you go back it wont ever happen again! :)

with love, dahling.
Reply:Other than waxing or bleaching they%26#039;re is also laser hair removal which can be costly and time consuming because it can take more than one session to permanetly clear away the hair in the area. I also have very dark %26amp; noticeable upper lip hair, I use Sally Hansen facial bleaching cream which works really well. Its not that noticeable at all since it lightens the hair, no on can notice it from afar or close up, unless they are focusing real close attention which isn%26#039;t usual.
Reply:we have try it all ;pluck,shave,wax,bleach,cream....pluck ,wax and cream makes the root of the hair thinner .

as i said for me cream and some plucking works ....as im not growing much upper lip anymore....
Reply:Ok so I know alot of people have this insecurity about upper lip hair... and they should be. Sorry to be so blunt. But I think its the turnoff of the century to any guy. The best way to get rid of it is waxing.... and make sure that you ice the area before doing it and after to avoid swelling. nothing to be ashamed about, all girls go through it. If you feel that you bruise easily, do it in a time in which you think that you would be ok to be submissive for two days. After a while you will be ok and your body will be used to it and you will no longer scab. My gf went through this and now its much better.
Reply:I have the same dilema, but there are several things you can do:

a)Waxing

It might be a bit painful at first but you get used to it. Waxing also removes hair from the root so it won%26#039;t grow as fast. Stores sell special wax strips that are gentle for the face.

b)Hair Removal Creams

These are the easiest to use and are the most gentle. They work out dissolving what bonds the hair to the skin. It sort of works like shaving because it doesn%26#039;t remove the hair from the root.

c)Hand-Held Hair Removal Machines

These machines are really small and they remove the hair from the root and it%26#039;s the fastest out of the three. They might be expensive($20-$30) but its all worth it!

d) Laser Hair Removal

The most expensive out of the four, but it will permanetly remove the hair.

Whatever you do, DO NOT SHAVE! The hairs will grow back faster and thicker!

Hope this helps!

Good Luck!
Reply:Do up the wax, it%26#039;ll be red for a short while then settle. It won%26#039;t be a vicious cycle. A momentary ouch!, then vwalah!
Reply:The best thing to do is go to a salon and they can do threading to get rid of the upper lip hair. dont wax yourself you can ask them to do that for you in the salon

Reply:Shave it, that%26#039;s what I do. Make sure you shave it often though. ^^ And be careful not to cut your lip.
